USING THE SPLIT SCREEN FEATURE TO COMPARE WORKS
At any time before or after you have conducted a Word Search
or made a Search Strategy selection, you may compare any two
works side by side using the split screen feature. From
the TITLES Screen, select any two works by moving the
lightbar to each of the two works and pressing the {SPACE
BAR} to mark your selections. A check mark will appear
next to each work selected. Use the space bar to unselect
any work.
After you have selected two works, press the {F6} key.
Both works will appear side by side on the screen. Use the
{TAB KEY} to switch back and forth between each work. You
may scroll, page down or use the {+} key to look for the
next "hit" if a word search was conducted. In addition,
the {F6} key will now lock the two screens so they will
scroll together. Once engaged, use {F6} will unlock the
screens.
You may also use the split screen feature when you viewing
the text. Press {F6} from inside the text you wish to
compare. You will be returned to the TITLES Screen and the
title of the work you were in will already be marked with
a checkmark. Scroll to the title you wish to compare and
press the {SPACE BAR}. Both works will appear side by side.
